Are you Ready for an Emergency?
Here is codeReady.
What is codeReady?
codeReady is a statewide initiative designed to help Minnesota residents get organized with personal and family preparedness in the event of a major emergency. By providing information and tools on this website, the state of Minnesota is challenging all of us to plan today for our safety and well being in the future. Good emergency planning involves getting informed, getting you and your family prepared, and then helping at local and community levels to get others prepared. (posted 05/17/2007)

Meth
The
use of methamphetamine has been seen in and around the Spring Lake Park in
2005. As we work our way through ’06 we hope to see this very dangerous
drug on the decrease. Meth’s effects are often life changing and
devastating. There are several things to be aware of and to look for:
-
Strong chemical smells coming from any building or vehicle.
-
Chemical spills and splashes here and there
-
An unusual amount of chemical containers in your neighbors garbage
-
An unusual preoccupation with security, cameras, dogs, alarms additional
locks
-
Strange or unusual behavior
-
Changes in personal appearance.
If you suspect a lab may
be present, or you think you may have some information for the police,
please call us at 763 792-7200 or visit our website at
www.ci.spring-lake-park.mn.us and send us an email. You can remain
anonymous. NEVER try to dispose of or dismantle a lab or lab components
yourself. They can be extremely hazardous.
